Madison Blue is an artist based in Columbus, Ohio. She recently received her BFA from the Ohio State University in Art and Technology. Blue uses photography and printmaking in her practice to explore the subject matter of familiarity and home. Blue also works with eco-friendly processes to express ephemerality and memory. Writing bridges her work together between mediums. She uses poetry as a form of documenting specific moments during childhood. Outside of image-making, Blue has a deep appreciation for music and immersive artwork. She hopes to branch out and include more sensory experiences into the display of her work. Looking towards the future, Blue will continue her exploration of comfort and memory as she curates a body of work.
